Mum's Virtual Spring Fair

Remember the Virtual Tea Party? I thought that this year we could have a play at a Virtual Spring Fair to bring some Spring cheer to us all.

We ought to have a committee to sort it out shouldn't we? I know, you're all invited to be on it. (You'll have to be all official and efficient. You can even wear a hat if you want and take notes!) We'll have to decide what stalls to have and what entertainment.

If you don't want to be on the 'committee' you could volunteer to help by providing (showing) things to go on a stall, be in charge of a stall or be in the tea-room (plenty to do here - make cakes, sandwiches, tea, wash up ....)

When shall we have it?

It will have to be in Spring, of course, and we need enough time for (post) preparations. The first day of Spring is on the 20th March so what about having the Fair at the end of March - Saturday 31st March? That gives us a few weeks to sort things out. I'll link to all your blogs again.

What do we have to do?

Anything or nothing at all, just like last time. Please tell me if you want to be on the 'committee' and give me your ideas or if you just want to 'join in' on the day.

Shall we have a good time?

I think we all enjoyed ourselves last time and I will really have a good time looking at your simply delightful blogs on the 31st March, browsing round the virtual stalls and having a go on the games.

Does anyone want to come and play?

I think we ought to have a band or music of some sort and what about dancing?

Welcome to my new follower. Please excuse the madness!

    1. Hi, Julie good to have you on the committee. Can you suggest what stalls we might have for the Fair, or what games or entertainment. That would be great.
PS I got your email. Thank you. Please send me your address so that I can send you a little something.

Mum, I see these all the time, have absolutely no idea what to do,I think I would like to have a go,but perhaps I could start the ball rolling by saying I will have a stall,of course it would be just little home mades and as I am currently making things for our annual Quilt Fair here in our little town this will spur me on with makes..is that ok?I think what I need to do is on the post a picture of my stall and goodies is that right? thanks Mum this is my first real join in.

  3. Can I have a stall too?

I'm not sue what yet, maybe a plant stall, or bric-a-brac.

Home baking isn't an option for me because basically my stuff is crap!!

    1. Of course you can, Anne. I'll put your name down. A home baking stall would be a good idea. Perhaps someone will volunteer for that, or just make one cake to put on the stall - with recipe of course.

  4. Hello - I would like to participate.

Do I have a whole stall, or could I contribute items for various stalls?

    1. Either, it's up to you. On the day I will link to your blog and you can show off your ideas, which could be contributions to stalls, games or entertainment. eg you could bake a cake and give us the recipe, show off something you have made to go on the homemade stall, show and explain a game that you've got that people could play, or even do an entertainment video on Youtube! It's all virtual - you decide what you can contribute. We all then blog hop around each other's blogs and read the offerings.

    1. HI, Sarah. Of course you can join. Glad to have you aboard. I've just had a quick look at your blog and you are one clever lady. I love the quilt you are making and the Henry Vlll embroidery is superb. I'll add your name to the list and amend the 'Committee' notes. Thank you for becoming a follower.
