Kitchen Window - September 2012

Pressie from DD.

Pressie from the garden plus pastry brush, which brushed the scones with beaten egg. No flowers today - I'm waiting for the chrysanthemums.

  1. Your kitchen window has reminded me I need to do some kitchen window dressing of mine own - have some spring azaleas in flower that could do the job.
Love that pear in a pear sculpture thingy - how tall would it be?
    Take care

    1. It's about 14 inches high. The pear inside is a separate ornament. DD just put them together one morning.

    1. Sliced courgette, covered with chopped tinned tomatoes and grated cheese, done in the oven for about half an hour to 3/4 of an hour. I added black pepper aswell. I ate it with salad and chips (should have been a baked potato but DH forgot to put them in the oven! I was out this afternoon otherwise I would have grilled the courgette, put sliced tomatoes on top and then covered with the cheese.

    1. The big pear ornament is from British Home Stores, I think. I'll check with DD.
