"Afterglow"

I'd like the memory of me to be happy one.
I'd like to leave an afterglow of smiles when life is done.
I'd like to leave an echo whispering softly down the ways,
of happy times and laughing times and bright and sunny days.
I'd like the ears of those who grieve, to dry before the sun
of happy memories that I leave when day is done.

  6. Lovely tune, my dad's favourite, happy memories of him. It's funny how music can remind you of people and places. Thanks

  8. wow - I hear this tune almost every night, as I'm trying to drift off to sleep. Little known fact: it must end at 12:48 precisely, for the shipping forecast. (Apparently) That's why it seems endless.
