The Model Village Walk

We had to walk through the park to get there. The rose garden smelled delightful.

Onward through the bowling greens.

It cost and arm and a leg at the entrance gate. We followed a trail around the small village. The Scots guards were piping us on.

The archaeological dig was a bit creepy.

Lots of camper vans were dotted around the place. Couldn't find a hippy one though!

Rev. Parsons was the vicar at the church.

This lady was working outside her greenhouse.

There was even a Romany camp there.

Rain, unfortunately stopped play. (I should have taken a picture of the model cricket ground!) Home then to real life.

  1. Much more fun than walking round Tesco, which is what I just did!
I like the chalk horse on the hill, what a clever touch.

  2. Adorable!

Adorable header too. Love the cats. I wish mine would do that in my squares. One is just too fat to try it.
