Number 14

My edging was slightly different this time round. As usual I edged with a double crochet but then I continued round with treble shells, ch 1 and then round again in the chain spaces with 1 dc, 1 tr, 1 double tr, 1 tr, 1 dc. I did one slip stitch across the shell below to get me to the next chain space.

The wool I used was donated to me from a dancing friend who can no longer see to knit. Her wool is being put to good use.

  1. its lovely too, I'm sorry your friend can no longer knit, I know how this feels

  2. That reminded me of a chess board, perhaps you could crochet one of those, and make all the pieces to go with it :o)

  3. That lilac wool is a lovely shade, you are really whizzing along with these small blankets :)

  4. I really like that edge. There are going to be some very lucky babies with your blankets.
I'm crocheting a baby blanket for my brother and SIL's new baby due in April and have been thinking about the edgings.

  5. So pretty. The wool is being put to very good use.
