Extracts from the Best Bit Book

The Best Bit Book was started in December 2015 and still has 2 more years to run. Here are some extracts. Food, family and friends feature a lot as does the joys of nature:-

Sinking into a nice hot bath

Clean sheets

Steak with peppercorn sauce

The sea

Car boot bargains

Sunny day

A tidy house

A lot done

A log fire

Painting the towel cupboard and listening to carols

Visit from ----

Lunch with ---

Facetime with ---

Sparkly top

Playing shop

A caring hand on my arm

A Nug!

PS Can you work out the last one?

  1. Is it a hug spoken by someone with a Lancashire accent(like me.40 years living in Wales and I still have my Lancs accent!!)

  2. What a great idea the best bit book is. I had to go back and read about it. I have also just been reading in a recent library book about starting a Day book which sounds very similar. No idea on the Nug!

  3. Ooh I love the idea of a 'best bit' book - what a great inspiration. I'm guessing it's quite comforting on days when things haven't all gone to plan. I might start one of these.

Thank you for your comments. it's always exciting reading them.
