This really annoys me too, especially when they put it in our garden waste bin and the council refuse to take it. I was only grumbling to Little Bird just this morning about two new sweet wrappers that have just appeared in our front garden. I find it incredibly rude if I'm honest.
ReplyDeleteAll 4! We have to regularly clean up the countryside. How people can throw out of a car their leavings and rubbish is beyond me. So dangerous for wildlife and stock animals.
ReplyDeleteOur problem isn't littler it's dog doo, people bring their dogs to walk in our yard even though there is an empty field right next to us.
ReplyDeleteHow hard can it be to drop a piece of litter in to a bin? It should be second nature to anyone brought up properly.
ReplyDeleteI agree with all your answers in question 5, what a pain, our last house was on a main street, and I was out every day, we were close by to McD's so had loads of beakers.
ReplyDeleteOh, I forgot to add the cartons, pizza boxes, Subway wrappers and other takeaway bits of food!

Why other human beings think it is perfectly ok to toss garbage around drives me crazy. It is the most revolting thing ever. It is people like you that will be the reason that the earth is still around in a couple hundred years, not them for their kids to destroy it.
ReplyDeleteDuring the last two weeks we have had fish and chips left on our garden wall.It just beggars belief that they couldn't be bothered taking it home and putting it in their own bin!!!
ReplyDeletewe get rubbish thats thrown out of cars after the contents have been eaten, Big Macs and Milkshakes.which is 3 miles away. there are 2 chaps who clean up our part of Derbyshire which inspires me to take home the rubbish, Dog poo is my biggest hate, why have a dog and not clean up after it. The dog owners see the dogs leavings every day as they repeat the walks.
ReplyDeleteI'm with you here. My house backs onto a main road and I have seen people toss cans of fizzy pop and half eaten stuff from their cars into our garden. There have been a few beer bottles recently too - late night drinkers from the pub. We even had an old bike thrown over the garden wall once. Amazing and depressing.
ReplyDeleteWe get rubbish blown into our garden too, its horrible, why can't people tidy up after themselves............?

We have the same problem and we don't live on a main road like you. Why can't people just use the bins or take home and put it in their own bin. What is wrong with people? Opps sorry rant over. It just makes me mad. Just this morning I saw a white van man toss his bacon butty out of his window whilst driving. grrrrr
