W is for question Words -
Why?
Why?
Why is it that there is always at least one odd sock in the house?
Why do people or pusscats always walk on a newly mopped floor?
Why do most question words begin with W?
Where?

Where?
Where are your glasses?
Where are your keys?
Where do you keep your dishcloth?

Who?
Who operates the remote?
Who gets up first to make breakfast?
Who can touch their nose with their tongue?

What?
What is the difference between a referring URL and a referring site?
What is your favourite meal?
What is this? It was given to me by a friend who was clearing out her mother's sewing box. (I know what it is but do you?) The top plastic bit comes off. The ruler is just there to show you the size. The whiskers and paws are there because cats always get in the way.

Which is the larger measure - 1 cup or 4 ounces?

Wow, what a lot of questions!
ReplyDeleteSocks - right foot first into socks. Pointy side of egg up, no idea why for both answers. And now my half term brain hurts! Your post reminded me of life with a toddler!
Right foot first is meant to be lucky, same with knicker legs and trousers, what my old mum told me anyway!,,, and I have no idea what the 'What' is! Please do tell.
ReplyDeletePointy end down, always. Joy x x
ReplyDeleteI've no idea what that is from your friend's mother's sewing box. I put my right sock on first and the pointy end of the egg upwards.
ReplyDeleteis it for making frills maybe, wind the fabric around, stitch down the middle and slide off?

I have no idea what that thing is. Is it a embroidery holder ? As for socks, I think there is a sock conspiracy. No matter how well you try to keep the pairs together, one always gets away.
