O'h mum how funny...I see you are an under person, I not only mostly change the roll but when anyone else does I have no idea why I have to have the paper over..are other people over or under I wonder,I have a friend Edith who when visiting people if they have the parer as you do she has to change it! I am not that bad just at home lol...
Hi mum, we have 3 toilets in our house, and thankfully both of us change the roll whenever we notice it is needed. I know what you mean though, why do some people fail to notice the obvious? As for me, I neither swear by hanging it over or under, whichever!!
I had to reply to this it made me smile :-) I would say 99% of the time its me and 100% of the time I hang it on the roller and I'm an over kind of girl lol, I don't go to the extreme of folding the ends to a point though...yet!
Whoever is there when it runs out changes it (paper "over", by the way!), but getting the cardboard tubes to the bin is apparently just a step too far for anyone but me.
Most of the time it is me. The Hubs says I use way too much TP but what's a woman to do??? I'm an over person and if someone else does change the paper and if it's under, I will turn it around. : ) Thanks for a laugh today, I needed it.
I am an "over" person. We both change the rolls, but I am the one who keeps the "reserve" rolls stocked in the basket on the back of the tank. The concept is lost on him....
Yeh me. Although, this morning, my partner was muttering something about "must get a new toilet roll". Wonders will never cease. I'm definitely an "over". xx
Ah, thanks for this it made me smile :-) It would seem that I am the only person in this house with the qualifications to change loo rolls, despite me making a laminated sign: - Empty roll into bin. New roll from cupboard. Slide onto holder. **Sigh**
Oooh im an over person-but yes im the only person to change the loo role, deal with dirty laundry etc... oh i had better stop before this becomes a rant!!
It was me if it pulls from the back, and the Mr if it pulls from the front, the kids refuse to fight the holder and leave the new rolls they take on the shelf!
This made me realise...I buy the loo roll change the loo roll and put the empty loo rolls in the bin....because they get left on the side of the bath....

ReplyDeleteYes, I think I'm in the minority as regards toilet paper hanging.
Deletexx
I too am the only one who changes it in our house. And I'm as over, never noticed any other way.

Must say when I saw your photo my thought was "it's on the wrong way around!!!!"
ReplyDeleteWhoever is there when it runs out changes it (paper "over", by the way!), but getting the cardboard tubes to the bin is apparently just a step too far for anyone but me.

Me in mine and he in his. I too am an under roller.
ReplyDeleteMainly me but.....sometimes hubs does the job :) x
ReplyDeleteq: How many men does it take to change a toilet roll
ReplyDeletea; no idea - science has no evidence of a male ever doing this task!
[actually, not true- in our house it is whoever finishes the previous one.]
I'm told that in the trade, over is 'male' and under is 'female'
We both do but only because we do not have a toilet roll holder....toilet rolls are kept in a basket nearby.

ReplyDeleteI change the toilet rolls, and keep the toilet roll holder full.

ReplyDeleteHouse rule - whoever finishes the roll replaces it!

Think the VK Household will adopt your house rule from now on!
DeleteWell it appears that it is only me and only me that also restocks the cupboard with spares. I was only having a whinge about this the over day.
ReplyDeleteHa, yep it's a mommy only thing! Drives me crazy.
