Colour in the back garden

The flowers in the back garden are only in a couple of strips as the majority of the garden is given over to growing vegetables. Walking along the path to the garage quite a lot is going on in the 'flower department' and this riot of colour greets me every day. A bloomin' good sight to see!

I had a shock to see the strawberry plants flowering in October.

I don't think I'll be getting any strawberries though!

  1. Oh, they are really lovely! Autumn is such a colourful time of year.
I have some strawberry flowers too and the fruit is getting bigger but I bet they won't ripen - not long enough daylight and sunshine.

  2. We have loads of strawberry blooms, and loads of new growth on our raspberries.

  6. Our strawberries were blossoming as well. Strange considering the below freezing temperatures we have been having.

    God bless.
