Spring and Summer wardrobe

Oh my gosh - I've splashed out! I've really pushed the boat out this year! I've gone and spent money on something new. Oh my.

Mind you my others have been worn to death and are a health hazard. I have searched and searched for the perfect flip flops as comfortable as the last ones I had, which were a cheapo pair from Ebay. The nearest I could find were the purple 'Surf' pair which are similar but not quite the same as my others. On my flip flop travels trawls through the internet I came across the green pair of 'DAWGS' which again are similar style and are extremely comfortable to wear. The centre pair are 'Crocs' which I suppose are the upmarket version of the other two. I purchased them for a reasonable price and have now made a concerted effort not to visit the Ebay site for at least the rest of the year! :)

I'm all set for the warm weather to come now.

And which are the most comfortable pair? The pair that makes you feel as though you are walking on air? The pair I would purchase again and again and again - if I was feeling flush?

The clear winners of Mum's flip flops of the year contest are

the DAWGS.

Let the warm weather begin - I'm ready.

And what about the rest of the wardrobe? Why my favourite long skirts and tops will suffice.

xx

PS A very warm welcome to my two new followers.

  1. Can't wear flip flops, don't like anything between my toes. But I really like your purple ones.

  2. I too can't wear flip flops. I wear Birkenstocks all through the summer here. I like the look of your Dawgs the best though.

  5. Where is you pink painted toe nails to go with the flip flops, you can't beat a comfortable pair of flip flops, sadly lacking here.

  6. I find that comfort is everything with flipflops. I can't bear the ones that cut up your toes. Well done for finding comfortable ones. They should go with anything, particularly the black ones.

  7. I used to wear flip-flops but now have to stick arch supports into everything and can't do flat at all * Sigh* The joys of old age and inheriting my mums flat feet!!

  8. I like the look of flip flops but with my life I would fall over in them. In the summer I have a couple of pairs of sandles which I wear all summer.

  9. Pretty colors but flip flops and I don't get along. It drives me absolutely insane to have anything between my toes. Enjoy your fun summer with these pretties.

  10. They should last you a while. Nice to have a choice of three, all three seem nice, but of course my preference would be for the green ones :-)

  11. I wear flip flops usually cheap ones from supermarkets. My feet are not pretty. But I find them comfy. And I drive in them too.
