I hate it when I don't get on with a book. It hasn't happened for a long time now as I'm quite picky what I read as it takes me so long to read a book anyway, but I don't waste my time on them when I can't get in to them. Hope the next one's better.
Oh! dear you didn't like it!!! I actually get quite annoyed when I am reading a book and finally come to the conclusion it is "rubbish" . It depresses me but I think that is because I so enjoy a good book and look forward to a bit of reading time and then it turns out to be drivel tut!!!
Hello Mum I've had my 'not learning from experience' moments as well lol. Now and again I'll try another one on the premise 'this might be a bit better than the last' but I really should learn to leave well enough alone with some authors! Here's hoping your next read will be all you are wishing for. Cathy
I would have cast it away Mum, reading is such a pleasure, when i get hold of one that I simply can't abide, I move on quickly away from it!! it is brain drain to me to read books like that!
You're not on your own by the comments that people have left on Amazon. Boring is the most used. Hope the next one you read is a good one . I love my books and hate it when I find one that I can't get on with.
I used to read every book I thought was good enough to take out of the library/buy second had to the bitter end. No more, my life is too short for bad books. I usually give it at least 5-7 chapters though
