Lords and Ladies

These wayside flowers pop up all around the garden in Spring. They are not the most beautiful of flowers but they remind me of my original Flower Fairies book.

I only have the Autumn poem in my new Flower Fairies book with the Autumn berry picture.  I can't find the Spring poem anywhere on the internet, I'm afraid.

A very warm welcome to my new follower.

  1. I've been promising myself a Flower Fairies book for such a long time now, I must get round to buying one.

  3. I think it`s called the wild arum lily, but they call it Cuckoo Pint down here, as the flowers open at the same time that the cuckoos arrive from Africa. There are lots growing in the shady lanes and hedge bottoms in the New Forest.
