The Country Diary and Nature notes are filled with lovely watercolour paintings of flowers, plants, birds and butterflies with Edith Holden's thoughts and writings interspersed with poetry, recording her personal observations of nature and wildlife. The third book - The Edwardian Lady tells the story of Edith's life and the background against which she developed her talents. My Christmas has come early.
