Here's the finished runner.
It nearly lines up ...
... and the border 'could do better'
... but I'm well chuffed with my first attempt. I even made a second runner out of all the leftover bits.
The cutter, board and ruler have arrived and I've just tested them before I put them away for Christmas so the third runner is in the process of being cut out - aren't rotary cutters great!
Greetings, new followers, so glad you can call in.

Lovely. I wouldn't know where to start.
ReplyDeleteYour runner looks really good. Well done.

I don't think it matters about little mistakes, it's the loving hands that created it which are important. Looks alright to me.
ReplyDeleteI think it's fabulous! I prefer the homespun look to factory made any day...well done.

LOVE this!!! Congrats on you first runner, simple, classy, and sweet!!! Now that you have the rotary cutter and mat there will be no stopping you.
ReplyDeleteIt looks fantastic mum, I really should make one, perhaps an autumn one and get into the spirit of autumn decorating!
ReplyDeleteLove the runner! Looks like a rotary cutter might be on my Christmas list!
