Long denim skirt - 99p from a CS,
cut down to a reasonable length using another 99p bargain tunic top,
hemmed by hand (it takes me such a long time to get out the machine and even longer to thread the needle on said machine) and now suitable for -
sunny weather with a straw hat and flips or ...
cooler times with black tights, long cardigan and boots.
Result!

Nice job there, do you have enough material left to make a skirt. I love a button through skirt.
ReplyDeleteI may have but it will be quite short. Watch this space.

Well done you!
ReplyDeleteGreat job on the refashioning of your outfit. As far as having a short button front skirt...Could you add a ruffle to the bottom with some spare fabric you have hanging around? Or perhaps you could find some fabric suitable at your CS?
ReplyDeleteGod bless.
Great work-if not enough for a skirt, how about a bag? I’ll be down your way next week but I’ll not even mind if it rains.
ReplyDeleteVery clever - good stuff!
ReplyDeleteLooks great. Enjoy wearing it.
