PS but I the days when we had a milkman, I used to rinse the milk bottles before the empties were collected and some neighbours obviously didn't. I think there are those of us who wash things first, regardless of what they're to be used for, and those to whom it would simply not occur to wash first ... Margaret P
I remember when my first child was born and the Health Visitors came round, there was one who automatically marked you down if milk bottles were unrinsed. But if your bottles were sparling and siny, she didn't seem to notice if you fed the baby gin, and wiped its nose with a floorcloth, Strange woman!!
I'm glad I am not the only one x
ReplyDeleteSame thing happens here.
ReplyDeleteGod bless.
