… today to I-key-yah, the first day of our holiday. DD and I took our time walking around studying room sets closely,
stroking cushions, sitting on chairs, lying on beds and mooching around the Market Hall. We both had our shopping lists and had a really enjoyable time picking out our purchases. At the end of our little hike around the store we decided to partake of the food on offer but neither of us enjoyed the veggie or the meat balls. We'll know for next time and perhaps take our own picnic. Now let's see when shall we go again?
xx
Glad you had a lovely day out, x
ReplyDeleteLB and I are due a visit this summer holiday. I'm not sure when. Maybe in a few weeks time.
ReplyDeleteCan I come with you? I love a mooch round but my husband hates it. Don't like the food much either.
ReplyDeleteWe don't have a store here in my province and when I went to the one near to Kurt (well 1 1/2 hours away) I was torn in every direction. My head was spinning by the time we left.
ReplyDeleteGod bless.
I am jealous I want to go to I Key Yah. Glad you had a great day
ReplyDeleteCan't wait for a vist. We need quite a few things from there but our nearest is Cardiff.
ReplyDeleteHmm...their meatballs still make me think horsemeat!!
ReplyDeleteAfter not having been since last year,we have been 3 times in the last two weeks! My food was so bad on Sunday that I took it back. Couldn't have cared less attitude meant I had to speak to the manager. Don't usually eat there but hubby was starving. I'll pass in future. Catriona
ReplyDeleteI worked for Ikea Birmingham for 5 years , I loved working there , The room sets are done by a design team , I wish i could have worked on that department but you needed qualifications wich i hadn't got , We only live 15 mins away so if i need anything that i cant get from a jumble sale or car boot we look there first , The food has never been any good though except the breakfasts xxx
ReplyDeleteWell I hate to say this but I LOVE eating at Ikea. Maybe it's better in France ? And I love shopping in their food department too. But then anything that makes me think I'm in Scandinavia ....
