One down

... still more to go. One little step at a time, though. As requested the finished dresser. (Spot what I didn't put back!) Here's the top shelf,

the middle shelf,

the bottom shelf

and finally ....

What a pity I didn't 'do' the drawers.

I think I'll leave those for another time!

Note the cat catchers in this drawer. :)

  2. Nothing better than a good clear off, dust off, sort out and polish up to lift the spirits. Well done :)

Now, I've an entire house to sort out - when can I expect you?

    1. Cat catchers help catch cats. The string in the drawer is a cat catcher. Just give it a wiggle and the cat will come a-running. The ping pong balls work but the cats tend to run the wrong way after batting them. Other cat catchers are feathers on sticks, long pieces of dried grass, wool - anything that wriggles really! Odd scratching noises work aswell.

  7. Hi - thanks so much for following up my 'following'! I didn't have time to comment before but I found you via Ang at Tracing Rainbows and decided to come over and see who you were! Your dresser looks great, and I look forward to snapping just the right photo for you from my embroidered map.

  8. Love the finished dresser. I think I'd leave that lot for another time, too!!! I'm busy going through things, too, ...trying to make some sort of sense out of the muddle. Haven't got very far though 'cos I keep finding things and sitting down looking at them...going down memory lane ! Think I'll follow you...just to make sure you sort the rest out...you know! Joan
