The magnificent Wurlitzer ...

... rises up from below stage

... to play in the magnificent ballroom

... under the magnificent ceiling.

... while on the glass fronted level there's comfy seating so

... you can admire the magnificent view.

  1. Hubby's Mum and Step Dad used to holiday in Blackpool so they could dance at the ballroom.

  2. Oh wow that was amazing!!! I love it when you take us around where you live.
I have happy memories - once breastfed a child on the beach in the rain. :( probably too much information.

  3. When I was in the UK I went to Blackpool,we had a fabulous time at the fun fair there and went on the tram and just laughed all day long..we did not get to see the ballroom though..perhaps I will get a chance another time, how beautiful.

  4. You're making me homesick. I know Blackpool like the back of my hand as used to go at least two or three times a year when I was younger. I've spent many a rainy day listening to Reginald Dixon play that Wurlitzer! Thanks for the trip down memory lane.

  5. It's a long time since I've been in the ballroom, that ceiling is amazing. I couldn't get the video to play, it says it's currently unavailable.
