... tidying drawers and sticking recipes in my notebook.
Seeds are sorted, shoe cleaning bits and pieces, dusters, rags, batteries, candles and place-mats. One solution to my recipe scraps was to laminate the family ones. These place-mats are laminated over colouring in pictures and precious photos. (DS went to bed with his new boots - couldn't part with them!)
Christmas laminated place-mats were another activity when the children were young.
The recipe book is coming on well and I intend to decorate the pages as and when the fancy takes me.
Right, where's the next drawer!

Well done, you - you have been busy!

I've got laminated drawings which have been used as place mats too. A great way to save special works of art.
ReplyDeleteGreat Idea for the recipe book. It's amazing what you find when cleaning out your drawers!
ReplyDeleteUseful and creative ways to fill in these dark, cold days! You have given me an idea. My aged hand-written recipe book ( started in my school days) is falling to pieces. Cutting out the best recipes and putting them in a new book would be the answer.
