Must say 'Hello'

The snowdrops are up and flowering but they are being dwarfed by the daffodils which seem to have started early this year.

The rhubarb is tending to forget which season it is in too!

The weather seems to be warming up a little now but the ground is still very wet. Already the annual weeds are showing through and I will have to go out in the garden when the weather is fine and make a start on getting rid of them. Hello garden.

The visit to the Winter Gardens had to include saying 'Hello' to the sea. Here's the Tower in all its glory, soon to be rid of its scaffolding so it can stand proudly showing off its new coating of red paint.

Turn 180 degrees and there's the sea.

Hello sea.

xx

PS Hello, new follower, I forgot to welcome you last week. I hope you enjoy your visits.

  1. I'm excited about the unveiling of the tower, I have never seen it without the scaffolding.

  2. Its great being able to see the sea whenever we want. Has the tower been red before? I cant remember the colour 30 odd years ago when I last saw it.

    1. Yes, red is its normal colour. It was once painted gold, I think. Now it only changes colour at night when the lights display is on.

  6. We have a raft of daffs starting to show in our garden as you may have seen. Can't wait to pick them! Before we moved to Wales we lived only about an hour from Blackpool. Great for a day out - Balackpool is what it is but I used to love St Annes. The weather is so mild for January you never know what might spring up early!
