I've just found this little notebook in a drawer I've been tidying. It only had a couple of pages filled in and ...
… on the first page was this note.
Ah, sweet! All my favourite things from my family. The best on the list is the 'great big hug'. I'm going to use the other pages as 'to do' notes or shopping lists in my Filofaxes. This is a 'new to me' birthday gift from DH. I'm using it as a hobby organiser. It's an A5 which is half A4. I'm recycling old A4 paper to use as pages.
The month dividers are recycled pages from last year's calendar. This one is very apt for the weather we've been having this January.

I have an A4 loose leaf diary for this year. I am a member of the fund raising committee of our village hall and want to keep all my notes and papers together. I fancy the idea of "tarting it up."
ReplyDeleteWhat a great way to recycle your calendar. You have some lovely planners. The pages of the little notebook are very pretty. I'm trying to use up the pages of lots of notebooks for similar purposes, there's so much of them that it will take me years.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful idea on how to recycle those lovely pictures one has on calendars.
ReplyDeleteGod bless.
That is a lovely gift a Great Big Hug

Awww, how lovely is that. I love looking back on notes such as this. I like your new Filofax, what model is it, I don't recognise it? I like how you're recycling last years calendar for dividers.
ReplyDeleteHi, it's a Fuchsia Original Patent which I bought on Ebay for a very reasonable price. I keep stroking it - very sad!

Ha ha, not sad at all, they're things of beauty.
DeleteWhat a good idea...I have an old filofax type organiser which is now not used. Can you explain how you are going to use it as a 'hobby organiser'?
ReplyDeleteI've noted in my 'other' Filofax that I need to do a post on my hobby organiser. Dust off that old Filofax and sort out some papers.

great idea to organize and recycle, good for you!
