... and I'm drying some of them (just the heads) in 2 shallow vases.
They go well with my other roses (fake of course).
They will either dry or die. Either way I'll enjoy them for a little bit longer.

I'm still enjoying these leaves which were 'left overs' from a walk last year. They've been an Autumnal display and a Christmas decoration. Now they grace another vase in the front room next to my chair.

My mum use to dry roses. Sometimes they were succesful......

I bought a mixed bunch of flowers from the supermarket on 23rd December, mostly chrysanthemums with a couple of carnations and roses, and they're only just past their best now. I can't believe how well they've lasted.

Lovely, I dry flowers too and then place them in an old time with rose oil and use in little pressies,the perfume is just so soft and lovely...
