  1. Hmmm, this last week it's been go to bed and lie there listening to the wind howling, scared to death that the roof is going to blow away. Thank goodness it's calmed down, I might get actually get some sleep now.

  6. You have put it so well,I often wonder if there is in fact a pattern to my tossing and turning.
The worst thing is that when Tom's head hits the pillow he's gone. Then when I actually manage to get off he starts snoring and wakes me up.
The cats don't help. They must think they are on stormy seas sometimes.

I keep threatening seperate bedrooms. lol

  7. Lol what a hoot!! and so like many of us,sometimes though peaceful slumber comes and surprises me and I wake up and think"o'h my goodness a good sleep"...I think sometimes we of a certain age just do not get a good sleep..our minds are in overdrive if there is nothing to worry about hubby says we create something to worry about..."to sleep per chance to dream".

  8. Sounds like my typical night too. Lately I have been going out for a walk most days, and I sleep better after the fresh air and exercise. When I don't sleep, I have a little in-ear personal radio I listen to, to while away the time. classical music usually gets me floating back to the land of nod.

  9. I know the feeling! Just like me! Except I can add another one to the list:"Now did I put the security catch on the front door...or not..."?!
    Happy Belated Birthday BTW!

  10. That sounds just like me. I have been having hip and trapped nerve problems and have the sleeping positions of, left knee under my chin and right leg stretched out. The reverse of that. On my back, slightly to one side so I don't snore. Then the same but slightly to the other side. I just can't stay in one position for very long. In between the cat moves from one side to another when I move!

One of my night time thoughts is: "Did I actually lock the garage door or did I leave it just open so I didn't have to use the key" as freezer is in there.
