Food eaten last week

Tuesday

Breakfast: 
DH - One slice of toast with a smear of butter and Bovril
Me - One slice of toast with Marmite


Lunch:
Fruit - Today was a selection of apple, orange, melon, grapes and banana cut up on a small side plate.
Two crackers


Tea:
DH - Sausage, egg, chips, tinned tomatoes
Me - Sausage, mash, mushrooms, French beans
Apple crumble and ice-cream

Supper:
DH - Eggy sandwich and a packet of crisps
Me - Two Ryvita with spread cheese, small piece of mature cheddar and hard boiled egg, tomato and cucumber (with a little bit of mayonaise and paprika)


Wednesday

Breakfast: as before

Lunch: as before

Tea:
Me and DD - Garden pasta with French beans, runner beans, onion, garlic, peppers, carrot (another large one!), tomatoes, cabbage in a tomato sauce with various spices.
DH - breaded something from the depths of the freezer with above.
Dorset apple bake and ice-cream

Veggies prepped ready for cooking

More beetroot on the boil.

Supper:
2 slices of toast with Marmite or Bovril

Thursday

Breakfast: as before

Lunch:
DH - fried tomatoes on toast, 2 cream crackers with butter and cheese
Me - a few beans (found at the back of the fridge) and fried tomatoes on toast, 2 Ryvita with spread cheese and cheese

Tea:
DH - Belly pork and yesterday's pasta sauce with rice
Me - yesterday's pasta sauce with rice and beetroot
Dorset apple bake and ice-cream

Supper:
Tinned salmon sandwich and a packet of crisps

Friday


Breakfast: as before

Lunch:
Salady bits with dips - mayonnaise and prawn cocktail sauce

Tea:
Salmon and tuna salad

From the garden


Me: Rhubarb and custard (diddley dum diddley dum dumpty dumpty dum)
DH: Melon

Supper:
Me: Two Ryvita
DH: Tomato soup

Saturday

Breakfast: as before

Lunch:
Fruit - banana, apple, orange followed by crackers

Tea:
Leftovers
Rhubarb and custard (diddley dum diddley dum dumpty dumpty dum)
Melon

Supper:
Cheese on toast


Sunday

Breakfast: as before


Lunch:
Today was apple, orange, banana and grapes.

Tea:
Roast chicken, runner beans, carrots, roast and new potatoes, Yorkshire pudding and gravy.
Lemon cake

Supper:


Monday

Breakfast: as before

Lunch:
Orange, apple, banana, grapes
Crackers and Ryvita


Tea:
DH - Chicken, chips and beans
Me - Left over roast chicken dinner from yesterday
Lemon cake and ice-cream


Supper:
DH - chicken pickin'
Me - cold chip buttie!

I think we got in our five a day. It is also noted that we eat too many chips and we should eat more earlier in the day rather than later. It is also noted that we eat too much cake - hmmm!
