Still breezy

I had to go and investigate 'the sign at the end' for Claire and Anne so I took a little walk along the beach.

Another shell to add to my collection. Now which one shall I choose?

This one, that one or the other one?

Les Dawson watched over things.

Oh no, it wasn't a sign just a marker but there was a sign as I walked on to the boardwalk.

I walked out again just the same. Still didn't dare to walk on the water though!

  1. Is it me, or should that sign have been closer inshore? Which shell did you choose and, does Les's statue really look like him?

  2. What a nice walk, the deep mud would put you off at least you can swim in deep water lol...both our cgildren live near the beach and as I read your blog I was thinking how long it has been since I saw lots of shells on the beach, yet as children there were so many we could not choose..different times..

  3. Toffeeapple, I chose a razor shell again. The statue is quite like him but I'll let you judge for yourself. Here's the URL of a blog dedicated to him. On here you'll find lots of pictures.

  6. What a lot of razor shells all together. Is that usual on your beaches or had their been a mass murder of them by the storms? We usually only get a few washed up along the south coast sands.

I think I would have chosen the blue whelk shell. I haven`t seen one that colour before.
