The first

Was this the first tomato?


Or this one?


Or one of these?


This one, I think! Slice it in two and there's half for DH and half for me.


Does anyone else have a ceremonial eating of the first tomato?

    Gosh, aren't the toms late this year? Ours are very small and usually gobbled up by my youngest son as he goes to the greenhouse to water!

    I inadvertently ate our first tomato whilst I was pottering in the greenhouse, couldn't resist it :)

    your tomatoes look really good , I have grown mine outside this year in my first year of veg gardening but I am hoping next year to have a greenhouse as I have not had much success in growing outside xx

      I hope you continue with your veggie growing. The taste of the first of any homegrown veg is something else!
