... sitting watching and listening to the waves,
seagulls strutting,
people paddling, looking one way to the pier,
looking the other way to the pier, looking behind (whoops, wrong behind)
looking behind me to the tower.
Oh I do like to be beside the sea. Smile please!
What lovely photos of the seaside. Love the Herring Gulls, especially the squeaky cry the young, grey ones make.

Love a day at the seaside - did you have fish and chips and/or ice cream?

Hey, there is blue sky in your photos. We haven't seen blue sky in Somerset for what seems like weeks! Send it this way - we want to go camping ... M x
ReplyDeleteLiz, I only went a walk to see the sea and say hello to DD who is working in town. I must admit I called in at the junk shop, charity shop and sweetie shop aswell.
ReplyDeleteSft, the gulls make their nests on top of chimneys in our area. The circle and swoop around the houses most days. The young ones make a heck of a squark when they are hungry and the adult ones make a heck of a squark when the magpies come around.
VJ, will send round the sun as soon as we've finished with it!
xx
I wish I was there, it looks gorgeous and it's been so long since I've seen the sea.
