Very nice steamed and I use it instead of spinach in a spinach and feta cheese pie . Can replace any recipes needing spinach . You can get this plant with brightly coloured stems and it's called Rainbow chard. I've learned something from today's...Hello! I've learned something from today's post!! We have an asparagus fern in our garden which every summer grows into a magnificent large fern. I never realised that it could be picked when small, just like asparagus!! I'm not completely dumb either and thought I was a competent gardener! I've been picking it to put with flowers in a vase. Oh well, never too old to learn something new! (Am 50).
